THE FIRST STEP IN
     THE PRINTING PROCESS

In our pre-press department we give your project a good foundation. We can take your files or start from scratch and completely design your piece professionally and in a timely manner.
     • We will begin your project with the
        generation of an initial proof. Our proofer
        checks for correct spacing, punctuation,
        proper word usage, spelling, sensibility when
        reading your brochure, document, etc., and
        overall balance for eye appeal.
     • Next we will generate a second proof for you
        to examine. At this time you may make
        any changes, additions, or deletions to your
        project. Upon final approval, you will then be
        asked to sign a proof approval form.
     • Our pressman will then use the final proof
        while running your job.

State-of-the-Art Equipment
The Kodak Magnus 400 Computer-to-Plate System. This new system is 5 to 10 times faster than direct to film systems, and eliminates handstripping mistakes and manual plate imaging registration problems. Each size of plates used are calibrated to its corresponding printing press for clean and sharp printing images. This system also eliminates the chemicals needed to develop film and burn plates, making it much more environmentally friendly.

After final proofs are approved, we can have plates up to our presses in minutes, instead of hours or days that film processing can take. This gives our pressman more time to do an excellent job on the pieces they are printing. Here at Rush Printing, we us every tool available to ensure the highest quality work possible.
